FDU Cosmetic formulation Lab

Fairleigh Dickinson University has been the home of a graduate cosmetic science program since the early 1980s. The founder, Dr. Salvatore Gimelli, established the first curriculum and led it for 20 years. He has been succeeded by Prof James Dougherty, who has continued a great tradition and added his own special contributions to the value FDU brings to its students. Cosmetic science is usually a "learning by doing" field, but the rigorous academic approach of FDU, combined with the participation of adjunct faculty from the industry, give the graduates an invaluable foundation for their careers.
